Re: MASQ Games And Thoughts!

I often play and host social deception games as play-by-forum, like Werewolves and the Resistance: Avalon. We sorta developed our own one here though with Boddy Count. But Id really like to play Resistance with you guys, and willing to host. =D

Ohw gawd it couldn't be the *starting* screen, could it?
"You're close" would be such an evil double sided hint.

Re: Coloring Ka-Zar #29.

Nice work! I should look this into this series, never invested much in Belasco's story. I dont think that it is Sauron in that image btw - he is depowered and living as a human between Marvel Fanfare 2-4 early 80s and X-Force early 90s. it is just one of the Pterons depicted there - some sort of hal...

Re: Apparently, Jane Jensen wrote over 20 books under an alias

How's your head, Spikey? Haven't had any complaints yet! How are you ;). Hey, you've got lots of new reading material! JK Rowling used an alias for her thriller debut, being known only for the Harry Potter series. Not to mention JK is a pen name in the first place since apparently her publisher bel...

Re: Apparently, Jane Jensen wrote over 20 books under an alias

Yeah, that is very true many writers do it - just surprising that it took me this long to find out about it in Jane's case, especially since I'm target audience for both. Jane obviously does it to market to a specific audience. Reasons for using an alias can vary greatly. Stephen King wrote under "R...

Re: Differences between the non-CD versions?

He probably means like Goblins 3 had some different assets and dialogue. The NA floppy version had a completely different title screen (checkerboard background similar to the box cover with a brawler goblin from level 2) and dialogue than the European version which had a bunch of credits and an ima...

Apparently, Jane Jensen wrote over 20 books under an alias

Jane fans, attention please. My mind just exploded from surprise yesterday. Usually, I go to Wikipedia to add and correct stuff. It is no secret I have a big obsession with everything Jane does, especially her writing, seeing as how Gabriel Knight 3 is both one of my favorite stories and favorite co...

Re: Visiting Rennes-le-Chateau (again :))

Swung by the l'Haute Vallée again, discovered a bunch of new stuff. In Rennes-le-Chateau; - Arriving in town, I noticed there was advertised a free group "meditation" on Mary of Magdalen, accompanied by live piano music... in the Chateau d'Hautpoule - the building which is the original inspiration f...

Re: LB: The Best/Worse Part Of This Game Was...

Colonel's Bequest Worst; The way time passes. Playing this game, you probably feel like you're missing out on a billion things. Probably because you are. That is not the kind of replayability I like. This hindsight criticism isn't all that useful of course, since the game was really top notch when ...

Differences between the non-CD versions?

Does anyone know if there are any differences between the two floppy disk releases, the two-part EU release and the one-part USA release? Want to replay it for some good old fashioned nostalgia - so prefer to find out what version I used to have before I start. I *think* I had a pirated US version o...

New fan intro to GK3

Hey all, Always hate reading the graphic novel before starting the game... so here is a video alternative to explain how Gabe starts the game, made just now by yours truly (it is somewhat better than my first attempt years ago). Used bits from the graphic novel, Paint (one of my fav programs of all ...
