Re: AGI Art for non-Sierra games

The score font? It's the standard font Sierra used in their actual AGI games. The DOOM font I pixel edited myself for the image. It doesn't actually exist.

Re: AGI Art for non-Sierra games

I should have done something like "talk to demon" and have a message box that says "I don't understand the word 'talk'." lol The stuff in the background is supposed to be big broken down skyscrapers in the distance. The one on the left in significantly worse shape than the one on the right. I spent ...

Re: Johnny Castaway

I never saw near enough of them when I first discovered it and when it stopped working with Windows to get that kind of idea of a linear story. That's so cool!

Re: Johnny Castaway

It's a randomized screen saver by Sierra for Win 3.x/95. It was always interesting to see Johnny in a new situation. Amusing and fascinating screen saver with a cult following.

Re: Two Guys Are Back! SPACEVENTURE!

The box version is only for backers who pledged high enough, AFAIK. Though, they may sell that themselves on an online store too. Who knows?

Booyah! I never doubted. And even if they miss June, this is encouraging news.

Re: Collector, How could you!!!

Besides the speed issues inherent in all SCI1.1 games in ScummVM (because it's dependent on system speed rather than simulated CPU cycles like DOSBox that you can slow down, least that's how it was explained to me by a ScummVM dev), in ScummVM you can have the high res dialogue portraits from the Wi...

Re: Collector, How could you!!!

DOSBox commands are burned into my mind now. Honestly I'm a little spoiled with what DOSBox can do. I'm starting to forget how to set up proper autoexec.bat and config.sys settings...

Re: Summer Daze - Black Screen

It's got nothing to do with graphic complexity. Summer Daze is a newer game than Skyrim.

Re: Collector, How could you!!!

Yeah, that's how I took it as well. ScummVM has always had something finicky about it that didn't work properly with SCI games. Each SCI version has a different problem. The speed issues in SCI1.1, the inability to disable digital sound effects in certain SCI0 and SCI1 games...

Re: So glad I didn't have to import this...

Ah interesting. I linked to the image on Twitter. I can see it but maybe that's because I'm logged in on Twitter. Here's the image from Imgur. It's got 5 discs plus a little "play button" pin that pins onto your shirt or anything and has a headphones jack and 15 of the tracks on it. Pretty neat. As ...
