Re: Break The Spine.

If I could live off of reading books, I would. The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King. Love it. And I can't believe there will be an 8th book coming out soon! I have read The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings trilogy. Amazing. Harry Potter of course. Diehard Pothead here :P Gemma Doyle series by Libba Bra...

Re: Your Favorite Moment?

P1 - The whole chapter seven sequence. The adrenalin is pumpin the whole time. Love it.
P2 - I gotta say the mental hospital scene was very well done. Plus you see "Harriet" from the first game in this one

Re: Your favorite Phantasmagoria and why?

Definitely Phantasmagoria 1. I always base my love for games off the story. Yes, the quality in graphics and sound weren't that great in the first one, but the story sucked me in. And scared me shitless! And I don't get scared easily. Some parts are predictable, but it didn't make you love the story...

Re: Superman Comic sells for $2.16m

What kills me with this reboot...in terms of Superman...is that Clark Kent is dead. WTF. You want to make Superman relatable? Clark Kent, growing up with the Kents, those values are what make him human. More human than most really. I liked the idea that was really Clark Kent, who played his role as...

Re: Questionnaire

1. Gabriel Knight. 2. Grace Nakimura. I love GK, but Grace is close to my heart. 3. So close with Mrs. Smith and Lady Howard. Over the top and annoying. But Lady Howard made some funny comments, including the chipper mood Grace was in in Day 3. heh. So Mrs Smith it is. 4. So tough. But I have to say...

Re: The Brainless Box (aka Television Shows)

I already had issues with Supernatural before Sera Gamble took over. There was a few episodes like French Mistake, or the one that made fun of Twilight, that made me fall off my seat from laughter. But overall the plot/arc of that season was really weak. Especially the finale made me RAGE with the L...

Count me in as a comic book reader. And yes, I am a girl.

And a huge Superman fan. Though I really despise this new reboot. Up yours DC.

Re: The Brainless Box (aka Television Shows)

It was a blast going through this thread. Haha. I used to watch Supernatural. That show ended for me in Season 5. Season 6 was....bloody hell...disappointing. Sera Gamble just has no clue what to do anymore. It ruled with Kripke (even if I had the issue with all female characters dying...or mind-rap...

Re: Favorite Gabriel Knight Game - Why?

I understand your point. I can't say that I agree with it totally, but I understand it. That's how I see it: Rennes-le-Chateau was extremely detailed as a set for Gabriel's new adventure, no less than New Orleans or Monaco. Moreover, it was extremely adherent to its real-life appearance: the geogra...

Re: Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers - A SHP Playthrough

Hey! Yes the same Shakar. I was wondering why those boards weren't working. I've been part of this since original GK board back in 2003.

I just recently installed GK2 with DOSBox setup. So I'm ready to playthrough when the time comes :)

Just went through this whole thread. Aww man. I'm sad I missed this. I would've loved to play along.
