I tried your suggestion and still no sound during the intro
I wonder if it's a problem with the disc image itself.

What changes have you made to your dosbox.conf? What do you have under [DOSBox] for machine= or under [speaker] tandy= ? I disabled all the sound devices except for PC Speaker and Tandy is set to Auto. The machine= is set to pcjr. I also disabled xms, ems & umb. It plays fine and I hear sound/music...

Hello, I'm running the original 1985 KQ2 (Version 1.1h) for the IBM PCJr using DOSBox. It plays just fine, but I don't hear any music during the intro (where king Graham walks across the screen, bows, etc). But I can hear sounds just fine throughout the game.
