AI written article about Laura Bow
I was recently testing out an online AI writing program, and asked it to do a piece about Laura Bow. What follows is the unedited, unaltered article it gave me, though I have bolded a few of my favourite lines. Based on my experiences, I believe AI writing to be currently useless at good research, b...

Re: RANT (and DISCUSSION): Disney Characters, Disney Plots
And if anyone thinks "Oh, it doesn't matter because it's only for kids" ... well ...? Kids are impressionable. Some of them, at least, will grow up thinking these films are really what happened. No wonder there are so many articles online that try to correct the damage created by Disney films. So y...

Re: RANT (and DISCUSSION): Disney Characters, Disney Plots
I do see where some of your points are coming from. The endless live-action remakes of their animated canon are perhaps becoming a bit much. Disney does tend to latch onto trends, and remakes seem to be their new thing since the DTV sequels were squashed. I'm partial to the films produced during Wal...

Re: Describe the least-appealing game
An endless open-world fighter featuring a map as large as earth, with unstoppable respawning enemies and non-regenerating health. No health packs, armor or weapon upgrades can be earned through play and must instead be purchased for exorbitant sums, while excessive DRM prevents even legal owners fro...

Sorry it took me so long to provide the itemization, it's been a busy month. Some of this is educated guesswork but I hope it proves helpful.

Re: Collector, How could you!!!
For me, installing and setting up the games is half the fun. Back in the "old" days, I sometimes would uninstall games just to reinstall them, as I loved the sound of floppy disk drives at work. (Weird, I know.) Now I have fun writing configuration and batch files to launch them...and using Collecto...

Re: What are you playing now?
Replaying "Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands" now. So thankful for Xbox One backwards compatibility. I never finished the "HD" version before, got stuck at the final boss. Better luck this time, I'm hoping. I also love the Wii version - same title, completely different game. Ah, I miss my Wii, a...

Not to take the spotlight off Rudy, but I had the good fortune to find this last week:
The box may have been opened, but the disc and guidebook are still sealed up together. So nice to feel that 90s shrink wrap intact.- Sat Feb 08, 2020 2:19 pm

Re: KQ7 - Wooden Nickel
The sad thing is there's really no "definitive" edition of this game. 2.00b fixed a lot of problems but also introduced some new ones. Nothing game-breaking, but a few animations were incorrectly changed and some music cues cut off. I managed to fix one of the problems via a custom patch, but some ...
