Re: Laura Bow as a Clue Game.

Haha I only see this now, yes I'm a mod there. Anything to play Cluedo!

There've been so many really cool Cluedo games on the site and The Colonel's Bequest inspired a forum game there. Great when two things you love merge, huh?

Re: What are you playing now?

I've: Solved all 3 puzzles of that chapter and undertook all necessary actions to be able to (bought and analyzed the postcards, visited l'Hermitage) and I talked to Madeline and Buchelli afterwards. Anyway I just played the chapter again and went all the way up to 3:9PM-Midnight - by that point you...

Re: What are you playing now?

Hahaha you do know I know GK3 backwards and through and through (and still find things to make me replay it)? In block 3:7-10AM you are Grace and it's the 2nd time block you work on Le Serpent Rouge. In the first time block, you: -get and investigate the painting -visit the Centre of The Circle, get...

Re: What are you playing now?

In the category BBP's Wacky Adventures In Gabriel Knight-land I am trying to finish Day 3:7-10AM and somehow I managed to get stuck - I set all flags for as far as I know, but the chapter won't end.

Oh well. Let's try it for the third time.

Re: What are you playing now?

Your savegame shows the amount of points you have anyway, so that's not necessary. I'm using my own point list [plug]on the Gabriel Knight 3 Compendium at bonny.ploeg.ws, check it out!)[/plug] but checking which points I had at a given moment in time was tough due to the many optional things that ca...

Re: Break The Spine.

So far Howl's Moving Castle is the only book I've read by the author, and since her work is hard to come by in this neck of the woods (still don't do internet shopping much) I don't think I'll be getting many others, but I very much enjoyed reading Howl. Read it quite a few times already too :)

Re: What are you playing now?

Restoring my GK3 savegames proves harder than I thought. I had them for full points and with GK3, since such a lot of the minor points can be scored in different time blocks, it's hard to keep track of what I missed based on points at certain points in savegames alone.

Re: Post Flash Games Here!

That's the puzzle. He'll move as far as he can in the direction he's going - he'll stop only if he runs into a monster or wall or crate (and more stuff but that's for the later levels). You can run into any monster and you'll have to use that so you can get your weapon, then kill all monsters, then ...

Re: Post Flash Games Here!

My current playing jam is http://www.freewebarcade.com/game/dungeon-and-puzzles/. It is fun but unfortunately it doesn't store game data (or my browser keeps on throwing it away upon closing :D so I have to start with level 1 every time I play. 8-)

Re: What's On Your Mind? (Silly or Serious!)

Found another one that should look familiar! https://www.nonograms.org/nonograms2/i/6386 There are great instructions on the site. Color pictures however require different solving methods than black/white, which is why I prefer them black/white but it some of these color ones are breathtakingly gorg...

Re: What are you playing now?

At the Cluedo forum I moderate sometimes games are hosted by its members in good ol' adventure game style. Currently there's a nice murder mystery going on called The Golden Goddess. I'm very curious to see what happens!

Re: What's On Your Mind? (Silly or Serious!)

It's similar that there's a hundred reasons why the victims could've known that something was wrong and it's hard to understand why they swallowed it for so long. Reminds me of some of the idiots I've encountered at work - famous but before my time is the man who booked a stay in Mallorca (a Very Fa...

Re: What's On Your Mind? (Silly or Serious!)

Earlier this year a similar story surfaced relating to my one of my favourite bands Dir En Grey - some sorry unemployed individual maintained that he was Kyo for over 10 years to the parents of his ex-girlfriend, saying his manager took his check book. He extorted a fortune out of those people - 54 ...
