Adventures that force you to do bad things.

Warning : the topic of this thread discusses to the puzzles of several games, and their outcomes, therefore it contains spoilerzzz. Recently it occurred to me that several adventure game pose some challenges to you, and you have to be a very naughty, bad boy (it's a boy usually) in order to overcom...

Re: Phrases you hate

Here is another one (and its variations): "You wanted to be like that, so don't complain about your situation" or "It was your free choice, so don't complain about the result" or "You chose to be on this situation, so don't complain about it" or "You are doing this by your own free will, so don't co...

Re: Fan film by some wonderful ladies...

Interesting! I know the name ElfQuest since my childhood, which fascinated me, but since there was no way for me to learn or read more (it was never published in my country) I never did. I saw some of it and the concept seems original and intriguing. I will definitely read through the comics As for ...

Re: Which Conquest Game Do You Like More?

Camelot Not only I had played it when little, during an age when Arthur was one of my favorite legends, but also I liked its depth and hidden details, which made the game really immersive. I played Longbow a few years later when I had a difficult time. Longbow had a lot of elements also found in Cam...

Re: Sierra Online video catalogue (VERY cheesy!)

Hah! The escape of Jesse Baines. Only that his hostage is a young man in the game, not a mustached fatman. And Rosella's shadow is totally unrelated to how she is holding the lantern. And I guess she is more beautiful in 'reality' :D It's great to see them. I had no idea such things existed there in...

Finding 'goodies' from collections

I wonder if the online 'Sierra museums' provide for download the videos found in Sierra Collections. The package of 'King's Quest 15th Anniversary Collector's Edition' contained some videos which haven't been in any other package since. Some of them are "The Fun Has Just Begun", "15 Years of Product...

PQ4

Playing PQ4 for first time and I really wonder how 'time' progresses. I am on Tuesday, found some evidence but the SID officer is not there. I looked at a walkthrough and it says that I should provide a report to Hal, which I have done. However i see that I failed to provide an earlier report. It se...

"crazy nick's pick's" something

Some game packs circulated, themed on Sierra protagonists. The games were derived either from "Hoyle book of games" or from the mini-games of Sierra titles themselves. I think that the packs were sold separately but they were also to be found in game collections; for example in the Roberta Williams ...

Re: KQIV agi, the story behind

Some other notes The magic hen does not walk on the table, it stands still Night does not fall as soon as you finish your 3 tasks. It falls real-time, when clock shows 9:00 The artifacts you exhume from the graves don't appear in the holes Betty Cowden's ghost doesn't materialize after you enter the...

Re: KQIV agi, the story behind

The AGI has Easter eggs that are not present in the SCI, such as the Pirate and the "Beam me" Easter eggs . I have read about the 'rap' easter egg, which is not mentioned in your list. You type 'rap kq' and Rosella dances in the cell. As I haven't killed Lolotte yet, I haven't verified this. Oh, th...

Re: KQIV agi, the story behind

Also, I noticed that Rosella's walking is very awkward and ugly. I would suppose that AGI is a demo version of the finished product!

BTW I am having version 2.0 which luckily, is the only one with the easter eggs!
