And here's the website (which includes a walkthrough, in the unlikely event of your getting hopelessly stuck).

Re: Adventure: All in the Game
Thanks, guys! I'm hoping it won't be too much longer before I get this thing released.

Adventure: All in the Game
Some of you may remember when I made a post announcing the release of my game Adventure: The Inside Job a few years ago. Well, as of this posting, the sequel to that game is very, very close to completion! Beta-testing is currently underway, and I should be ready to release it within the week, if al...

Re: King's Quest II SCI in your browser
Wow, it's great to see this game is so close to completion!
Unfortunately, whenever I try to start it, it hangs up at the DOSBox prompt with the message "Illegal command: autorun.bat". Is anyone else getting this problem?

Re: Early KQ6 Artwork
Ok, so here it is: Quoting Richard Powell: It's him and Phy Williams screwing around on the KQ6 set, lol. Hmm...it's nice to have that mystery solved at last. I still kind of wonder why Caliphim's hair and beard were recolored and various other tweaks were made to the picture if it was just a joke.

Re: Early KQ6 Artwork
I already posted a link to that picture in the first post in this thread. I first saw it years ago, but I still don't know anything about it.

Early KQ6 Artwork
I was just recently made aware of a video called KQ6ART.AVI that was included on the KQ6 CD (but apparently not any of the KQ Collections, darn it). This video contains a lot of early high-res backgrounds and closeups from KQ6. Fortunately for those of us who haven't seen the KQ6ART.AVI video, ATMac...

Re: KQIV agi, the story behind
Maybe I'm not understanding you entirely, but several Sierra games have had two or more different versions released. There was an EGA version of KQ5, a VGA version of LSL6, and EGA versions of the SQ1 remake and SQ5 (you can read more about them here ). SQ4, actually. Not SQ5 (though I suspect that...

Re: KQIV agi, the story behind
KQIVAGI represents an oddity in itself since it is the only Sierra game released in two versions (KQI doesn't count since it was a remake). I really wonder what is the story behind this. Maybe I'm not understanding you entirely, but several Sierra games have had two or more different versions relea...

Yikes, I'm surprised I overlooked this thread!
Here's a short, funny collection of a few clips from Mask of Eternity, with..."commentary." (Hooray for public annotations!)

Re: Anyone noticed this?
Hmm...it's strange that those two covers should be so similar, since in some aspects, Enchantia is practically the Bizarro World KQ7. While KQ7 has an incredibly simple interface, Enchantia has what has to be the most awkward, clunky, unfriendly adventure game interface ever devised by Man. For inst...

Re: New King's Quest from TellTale!
I'm pretty late to this thread, but while I'm fairly open to whatever style Telltale might decide on using (and like Datadog said, not all of their games have a cartoony look to them), I thought I'd throw in something else about the artistic style of the KQ games that I don't think has been brought ...

Re: Legend Entertainment adventures
Callahan's Crosstime Saloon was the first Legend game I played, and I thought it was great. The dialogue and descriptions were some of the best I've heard/read in an adventure game, and the graphics were pretty good as well. I've played some of Legend's other games, and so far, I haven't been disapp...

Re: The Weirdness of "An Encyclopedia of Daventry"
Having never read the KQ novels I can't say what more to the KQ story line that they might have added, but it sounds like this guy has been engaging in his own little flights of fancy. Unless someone can point to proof in something official I'll dismiss it as nothing more than a fan's daydreams. I ...
