The Weirdness of "An Encyclopedia of Daventry"
"An Encyclopedia of Daventry" is a section of the King's Quest Companion only included in the first two editions of the book. It contains information about many of the lands and characters of the King's Quest world, some of the fairy tales that appear in the games as well as many additional stories....

Re: Sierra Games: Can You Recognize The Quote?
Yep, that's the one! Specifically, it's Mr. Nibbler the psycho rat talking to Rosella when she's wearing her disguise.

Re: A large update to Sierra's Resource Files
The Resource viewer has a play button for animated sprites. You can export the individual frames and save them as an animated gif. That's right. I didn't discover this feature until months after I started putting that page together, though -- I was Print-screening each individual frame and putting ...

Re: From the WINDOWs to the WALLpaper...
As soon as I saw MI's desktop, I knew that I had to reply just to saw how awesome I thought it was.
As for my own desktop, it's...well...green. And that's pretty much it.

A large update to Sierra's Resource Files
I've added a lot of unused animations to the already huge KQ7 section of Sierra's Resource Files. Among them are animations of Valanice getting turned into a doll by the snake oil salesman, Valanice zapping the scorpion (?) with a beam of light from the crystal, Rosella getting smooched by the Jacka...

All right -- this one should be fairly easy (boy, if I had a dollar for every time I've heard that said in these kind of threads...)

Re: Sam & Max (The Telltale Adventures)
Well, I wasn't planning to play this season for a while, but when I discovered that there was a sale on it, I couldn't think of any excuse not to get it. Story-wise, I was pretty impressed by most of it. I didn't particularly care with some of the dark turns the story took, and as epic as the whole ...

Re: Just to make sure my memory isn't failing me...
I remember seeing that screen a while back with the SCI Viewer, and IIRC, I posted it here somewhere? I can't remember but it was definitely interesting to see another scene from the land of the dead! Nice collection you have there! Thanks! I figured that someone might have discovered this scene ea...

Re: Just to make sure my memory isn't failing me...
All right -- that's enough of a confirmation for me.
That scene as well as Shamir's unused portrait have been added to the Misc. page. (I also made an addition to the KQ7 page, but it's pretty unimpressive compared to these two finds.)

Just to make sure my memory isn't failing me...
...does the attached scene ever appear in the Realm of the Dead in KQ6?
(I'm making a small update to SRF, and I'm almost 100% sure this background doesn't appear in KQ6, but I thought I'd get a second opinion from the folks here just to be sure.)
