Re: TV Series

I haven't watched television in a good while... just nothing that interesting on anymore. I missed the first few seasons of shows like 24 and Lost , so I plan on buying the boxsets and go through them before catching the new episodes. The only prime-time show I have taken interest in is Nip/Tuck . I...

Re: Official Sierra Boards

I haven't seen him on the VU Boards in a while, nor has he updated any of his Windows releases in a few weeks.

Re: Monitors

I still have the first computer I (my family) bought... how else would I play all my old, awesome MS-DOS games? I think we bought it around 1995... it is a 486 @ 90MHz that originally ran Windows 3.1 (later upgraded to Windows 95 for free from the OEM, Gateway 2000, now just 'Gateway' I think). I re...

Re: Your favorite Phantasmagoria and why?

I love them both, really, but there's pros and cons. The first one had an excellent interface and navigation system, similar to every other Sierra title, which made it fit pretty well. Compared to A Puzzle of Flesh, though, the movie quality was rather poor in some areas, and so was the sound. The s...

Re: Official Sierra Boards

I was recieving an error this morning as well, but it seems to be back up right now. I heard that they are preparing to close the forums down, just as they will most of the multiplayer servers.

Re: Monitors

After using the same 17 inch 4:3 CRT monitor for almost ten years, I've just recently made the move to a widescreen LCD monitor, 21 inches. As nice as it is, older games still look a little odd (stretched out due to lack of support for 16:9/16:10 aspect ratio-compliant resolutions). That's probably...

Re: Got a Sierra game favorite that doesn't have its own forum?

Good to see the Sierra forums rescued from the soon-to-be abolished 'Sierra Community' on VU's site (or whoever owns them now). Anywho, there seems to be a forum/sub-forum missing for the Phantasmagoria games. I know there were only two in the series (original and A Puzzle of Flesh ), although I thi...
