Re: LSL Greatest hits and misses GOG version

I have them, but I have not taken a look at them, yet, so I cannot comment on how they did it, but that is odd. LSL6 and Softporn would have to be done in DOSBox as SVM supports neither. I think that you mean the high-res version of LSL6 because the Low res version is compatible with ScummVM. Also ...

Hmm To me it looks like the caldron from Hagatha's cave in KQ2.

LSL Greatest hits and misses GOG version

I just bought the GOG version of this collection just yesterday and I found something very odd about the way they set it up. For LSL 1-5 + LSL 6 floppy disk version they are using ScummVM to run these games instead of DOSBox. Plus they used DOSBox for the hi-res version of LSL6 and Softporn Adventur...

Re: What are you playing now?

But back to Sierra and their parser... was it really lazy programming or was it a limit on the parser? You know if it was lazy programming - a shame these games aren't freeware... Because we could use the AGI/SCI Editors to go in there - and add some additional options (like "Open Mail Box" rather ...

Re: QFG1 places you can get stuck permanently

Some of the dead ends in QFG1 VGA can be found in Paw's lets play of QFG1 VGA. Such as stealing from the healer if you are a thief or a hybrid character. Also including forgetting to buy the stuff for the grave yard part after visiting Baba Yaga.

Re: Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded

I knew that this game was released but I do not know when exactly because I saw LPs uploaded of this game by an LPer on youtube known as the GameHorder and I suggest you checkout his other LPs because he is very funny. But fair warning he does his LPs with an R rated style with alot of cuss words etc.

LS2? The part where Larry is going along that cliff or mountain dressed as a woman just before the airport.

Re: Some thoughts on GK2

There were a few things in GK2 that annoyed me. In Chapter 4 you have to go through everything with a fine tooth comb or you cannot progress if you forgot the tiniest thing. Also the Final part of the Game where you play as Gabriel as a wolf and prevent Von Gower from escaping while preventing you f...

Quick Question about KQ:MOE

I played KQ:MOE when I had my old P4 XP rig back in 2009. If I were to play it on my Windows 7 computer which install option would be better for me to play it little or no lockups or crashes like I did on my P4 Xp rig;? 1) To use Collector's installer (since I still have my own copy of the game) 2) ...

Re: So I'm wondering...

I really want to get the Monkey Island Special Edition Bundle (MI1 and MI2) through Steam, but I'm wondering how secure it would be to use a credit card over Steam. I know the official Steam line that it's extremely secure blah blah blah - every company will tell me that. :P What's the word from th...

Re: The 6 Most Absurdly Difficult Video Game Puzzles

Im surprised that nothing From KQ3 made it in there because you have to spell everything out exactly with no misspellings for the different spells that you get in the game. But I can see where they were coming from with the Rumpelstiltskin puzzle. Hows every one to know to use the backwards alphabet...

Re: QFG finall on GOG

Wow this is great news. This almost finishes up the major classic series that made Sierra what it was. All GOG needs is Leisure Suit Larry. I might get this at some point.
