Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

In case you're interested in Silpheed, there's one right now at a starting bid of $9.99 and cheap shipping, located in the USA. Boxed with manuals and both disk types. Auction ends in 5 or 6 days. Bidders looking for the game by the title probably won't find it, since he mistyped it :) http://cgi.eb...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

I'm most definitely going to take that deal. I proposed him to buy 4 boxes at $20 each. He then said "80 bucks? For that amount you can have all 6 of them." Can't argue with that 8). Lucky you, cause i was watching that PQ2 on eBay aswell :P. I was bidding on KQ1 SCI a week ago. There were 2 of them...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

Ah Zeliard, still missing that one, along with Sorcerian. Aside from those 2 games, the Thexder series and Silpheed, Sierra didn't publish anything from GameArts, did they? Just got a proposal from a seller to purchase LSL1 (SCI), LSL2, LSL3, Freddy Pharkas, SQ4 and PQ2, all complete, all together f...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

...and a couple more. King's Quest 6. FINALLY the individual box. Probably took me so long to get it because the box comes in so many different colors (white, black, violet, red, blue). Got the black one now, more colors to follow: http://i7.ebayimg.com/04/i/001/07/80/6e43_1.JPG Leisure Suit Larry 5...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

Asterix, by Coktel Vision?? Never seen that one. Didn't even know it existed. Nice to see you got your hands on that KQ2, Collector  Guess what i've just found: the rare Diablo Hellfire, complete: http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/6803/gffddd32xy6.jpg I got it for an amazing price too, only GB...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

This one, obviously not sealed, went for $10 with buy-it-now and looked pretty much complete so, in cases like this, there's no doubt i'll run off with it when i see 'em. As usual it's the shipping which costs me the most: on average $20 to ship from the USA to Slovenia.

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

Space Quest 1 EGA... hard to find. Got a search engine scanning eBay for it daily.

Picked this one up just now: Conquests of Camelot

Collector wrote:I'm not sure if there is any other than the Discovery version of Island. I have not seen any evidence of it. If there is, I would like to get it.
Edit: Nevermind... i was thinking about seeing original Castle, not original Island... Haven't seen any other box than Sierra Discovery Series either.

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

Collector in action  The Dr. Brain games, are those the original boxes or the Sierra Discovery Series boxes? I have both of them as Sierra Originals and Island as a Sierra Discovery box. Still looking for both in original box and Castle in the Discovery Series box. Did anybody ever hear about t...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

http://www.vintage-sierra.com/other/mtdrash.html Also referenced it the "holy grail" of collecting. Meh. I don't get why it's considered the holy grail - other than like only 3000 copies were made (according to Wiki). :D The 3000 produced units is indeed correct, but the game was apparently so crap...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

Items like those don't go for less unfortunately. Buyers find them without a doubt and they occur so rarely that there's no such thing as a lucky win. I actually expected Wizard & Princess to go for more. Ultima I and Ultima 2 go for about $300. "Ultima: Escape from Mount Drash", the Holy Grail of c...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

Very nice finds Collector. The Helicopter 3D is not so easy to find. That together with 3 other boxes for only $3.29 is an amazing deal. I've been laying low on eBay the past week. Those 2 On-Line Systems games drained me a bit (nearly $100 a piece :( ). Still ran of with 2 thingies: Thexder for Win...
