Edit: Nevermind... i was thinking about seeing original Castle, not original Island... Haven't seen any other box than Sierra Discovery Series either.

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

Collector in action  The Dr. Brain games, are those the original boxes or the Sierra Discovery Series boxes? I have both of them as Sierra Originals and Island as a Sierra Discovery box. Still looking for both in original box and Castle in the Discovery Series box. Did anybody ever hear about t...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

http://www.vintage-sierra.com/other/mtdrash.html Also referenced it the "holy grail" of collecting. Meh. I don't get why it's considered the holy grail - other than like only 3000 copies were made (according to Wiki). :D The 3000 produced units is indeed correct, but the game was apparently so crap...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

Items like those don't go for less unfortunately. Buyers find them without a doubt and they occur so rarely that there's no such thing as a lucky win. I actually expected Wizard & Princess to go for more. Ultima I and Ultima 2 go for about $300. "Ultima: Escape from Mount Drash", the Holy Grail of c...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

Very nice finds Collector. The Helicopter 3D is not so easy to find. That together with 3 other boxes for only $3.29 is an amazing deal. I've been laying low on eBay the past week. Those 2 On-Line Systems games drained me a bit (nearly $100 a piece :( ). Still ran of with 2 thingies: Thexder for Win...

Re: Post your new Sierra treasures here (box shots optional)

Let's see what's all been added over the past month: First the Sierra Originals rereleases. These are actually the games i first started buying, halfway the 90ies. As a student in those days, i couldn't afford many games, purchasing one every 2 months or so. Lately i've been searching a bit more act...

Re: SHP banner

I like it too, except for the "keeping the Classics alive on modern PCs" part. "Keeping alive" has this negative sound to it, don't you think? It's not just about keeping them alive, it's also about making them known again, introducing them to the new generation of gameplayers. How about something l...

Re: The Official Welcome Thread

Hello everybody. Is it just my imagination or does everybody here look very familiar :)? Nice to see we found a place to continue the classic forums. However, there's a LOT of work to be done to keep the whole communtiy together. There are a lot more Sierra fans out there looking for a place to go. ...
