Maiandra has her own game!

Well... not really, no. While my wife hasn't made a video game or had one made about her (which would be a little weird and intrusive), there is an "early access" title on Steam called Maia.

Needless to say, I poked fun at her about this. :P

BTW, in case anyone was wondering, I don't know squat about Maia (the game, not the person). It could be horrendously bad, or a GOTY candidate. No clue at this point. So don't take this post as a recommendation or advertisement for it. I just wanted to make a joke about the game's name, that's all. ;)

Actually, I've become so used to that name online that it is kind of weird seeing anyone (or anything) else using it. I bet if someone said "Maiandra" or "Maia" in person, I'd look over.

That happened with me. I used the name "Adam-X" for a long time (during the BBS days), and people in San Diego then TN, who knew me from the BBS would just call me "Adam." I just got used to it.
