Try this. I have used it on machines that have been unprotected or under protected with great success.

I just installed and ran AdAware and it found a trojan. Dispensed of it properly and now my internet works great. Images are showing up properly and I can Google the word Reset again! lol No idea what caused it, though.

It has become so easy to become infected these days. Even if you avoid the bad sites, it seems that even trusted sites can become hacked and infected. Just visiting one of these sites can get you.

It's really gotten to the point where you need to dual-boot your machine with Windows and Linux. I know that if enough people moved to Linux, it'd eventually become a primary target for infection as well, but that probably wouldn't happen for quite a while.

You should run Noscript with Firefox. It blocks any scripts for running, including Firefox. You can temporarily or permanently allow specific domains. And if you don't use Java much, you should disable Java plugins too. I suspect the few viruses I've gotten just from visiting formerly trusted sites were caused by Java vulnerabilities. You should try other virus scanners too and investigate further because if you have a trojan, there might be other things that haven't been detected yet.

Ocassionally getting (after editing my own post - twice so far) -

Code: Select all
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Table './collectr_phpb1/phpbb_search_wordmatch' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed [144]

SQL

SELECT w.word_id, w.word_text, m.title_match FROM phpbb_search_wordlist w, phpbb_search_wordmatch m WHERE m.post_id = 39976 AND w.word_id = m.word_id

BACKTRACE

FILE: includes/db/mysql.php
LINE: 175
CALL: dbal->sql_error()

FILE: includes/search/fulltext_native.php
LINE: 1155
CALL: dbal_mysql->sql_query()

FILE: includes/functions_posting.php
LINE: 2516
CALL: fulltext_native->index()

FILE: posting.php

CALL: submit_post()

But just resubmitting worked both times.

This might not be the right place for this, I was looking for a way to contact whoever made this site, or who can edit the walkthroughs.

I have just started to play Phantasmagoria 2 puzzle of flesh, and had to turn to the awesome walkthrough here because I am terrible at point and click adventure games. Even though I love them so much, I get stuck quite horribly. Playing with your walkthrough I have noticed one thing to be missing so far.

If you havn't played Phantasmagoria 2 yet and want too then stop eading because:
***SPOILERS!!!!!!***
I would like a few small changes made to the walkthrough:

In chapter one, before you put in the password "blob" add for the player to call himself, there is a little scene of him talking to himself.

Then after the "Blob" password is entered and the ghost slaps him, call yourself again for a nice surprise.

I know that every little different video can't be added for the walkthrough, and using it means you wont see deaths. But it would be nice if there was a "directors cut" that told me where some of these extra gem lay.

I feel like no matter how much I play these games and experiment I will miss scenes, because I just don't think to even try some actions.
Anyway, that's enough rambling from me. I love these games, and wanted to bore you guys with a tale of a guy that just rediscovered all these little gems from the nintys.
