New Board Layout

Post by Collector » Sun Feb 07, 2010 11:49 pm

As you have probably noticed, I have merged some forums to neaten things up a bit. I have combined all of the non-main series games into one main forum and I have merged the non-Sierra games and Other Tech Help into one off-topic forum. You will now be able to see if there are new posts without having to do a lot of scrolling. I have also added some threads from my forum on Tawm's board from when SHP was still being hosted on tawmis.com. Some of these threads may appear as newer than what they actually are. There is information there that I wanted to preserve, as some of it is Sierra troubleshooting and some of it relates to SHP history.

I may be in the minority here, and probably it's only because I was so used to the old one, but I still prefer the old one ;)

It's not that different. I only merged the non-Sierra games forum and the misc tech forums together and moved the non-main series forums to one group.

I'm sure we'll learn to live with it

On another note - did I just see in another forum, that there's a quick Reply now?
And if so, why isn't there one here? :o

There are a few new features with this version of phpBB. I haven't gone through everything, yet.

I prefer BBS via dial-up. Oh wait... no, I don't. :P

The change is a minor one (like Collector said) and although it's always a bit jarring to see something different, I think we'll adapt very quickly. Honestly, I think it's a good change.
