It's an early Dynamix game. Quest Studios has some music from it here. It came with a poster of the cover art.

Collector, how much did that copy of The Beast Within run you with the box and manuals?

Very nice. I've got the cds too, and I've been looking for a good copy with the box and manuals.

Very nice finds Collector. The Helicopter 3D is not so easy to find. That together with 3 other boxes for only $3.29 is an amazing deal.
I've been laying low on eBay the past week. Those 2 On-Line Systems games drained me a bit (nearly $100 a piece :( ). Still ran of with 2 thingies:

Thexder for Windows '95. This one completes the Thexder series.

...and those InterAction Magazines i told you about. Those should contain a whole lot of interesting info:

Still watching a couple of items... It's oh so irresistable :)

Wow. I love Sierra games, I do. I have a shrine of the classics. I hail it and praise it. But I am not sure I could drop 100 bucks for a game. Or really, anything collectable... Even some comics that I love... I have a hard time paying more than 40 bucks for, at the most. :(

But I can easily spend more than 100 bucks on multiple comics. :D

Items like those don't go for less unfortunately. Buyers find them without a doubt and they occur so rarely that there's no such thing as a lucky win. I actually expected Wizard & Princess to go for more. Ultima I and Ultima 2 go for about $300. "Ultima: Escape from Mount Drash", the Holy Grail of collecting, was last seen on auction about 5 years ago and went for about... $8,000  . No, i don't have that one...

Also referenced it the "holy grail" of collecting. Meh. I don't get why it's considered the holy grail - other than like only 3000 copies were made (according to Wiki).

While there are a couple of pre AGI games that I would like to get because of their significance to the Sierra we love and enjoy, my endeavors are much more centered around the AGI-SCI era. I would like Mystery House (the very first Sierra game) and Wizard and the Princess/Adventure in Serenia (which was part of what KQ5 was based on). I am feeling the the drain on my wallet just by the volume of my eBay wins. most have been under $10 and nothing over $30-35. I lost the IBM release of KQ1 because I was unwilling to go over $60.

The 3000 produced units is indeed correct, but the game was apparently so crappy, that only a few got sold and the rest got ditched away. Hence the low number of units still in circulation.

On a sidenote: for those among you that are looking for PQ1 AGI, there is currently one listed on eBay. It comes with 5.25 disks though, not 3.5 disks, which also means that it will go cheaper than usual:

I am watching it. I will probably make try at it. Any real collector has a way to read 5.25" disks. Besides that, I am mostly looking for the packaging and extras. I already have all of the games in one form or another, such as part of a collection or just raw disks/CDs.

Nice jafa. While the Sierra games are my first love, I love Adventure games in general. I already have this game, too and am waiting for what you are able to do with it to get it working on XP/Vista. BTW, I have a number of extras of some games. I might be willing to donate some of them, if it would lead to getting them working on modern Windows. Just start a thread a in this forum for any that you might be looking for.
