King's Quest Collection Series (2nd KQ Collection)

Postby Collector » Sun Mar 08, 2009 10:38 pm

I found the King's Quest Collection Series (second King's Quest collection from 1997) on eBay with a "Buy it Now" option of $25.00 with $3.58 shipping. It usually goes for $40 - $50 or higher. Remember, this one has it all, except for MoE. The content is nearly identical to The Roberta Williams Anthology. What the RWA has extra is the chapter 1 (demo) of Phantasmagoria. For an extra $10 over the $15 or so that the new collection costs, you can get the AGI version of KQ1, both Laura Bow games, Mixed-up Mother Goose Deluxe, several of the old Apple ][ games and many extras.

The year before last..I bought the 1-7 collection of KQ...because You know I no longer had DOS on my computer so i could not play my old KQ discs...and I already had KQ8 Mask of Eternity..but they all worked very well for me ..no glitches at all and I play them all the time especially 7...it's my favorite...I'm am quite fond of King Otar...And i tell ya...i bought KQ8 at Gamestop..but when I bought it they were called EB games..but I paid ten dollars for it..it still had it's original box..and a complete walkthrough ...it's great..I wish they would make some new ones and continue the story. ;)

Hello! Welcome to the forums! If you have not already done so, I'd recommend using DOSBox for all your classic Sierra games!

Former Tawmis.com user who was on there because she needed help with King's Quest, and the Sierra Help Pages were formerly hosted there and gave instructions to sign up to the Tawmis.com forum for assistance.

I just happened to recognize her signature because it's the new user name she used on Tawmis.com (just today - She never came back to it after the database for the forum went ka-put).

It was the MidNightMeat Train thing (which as dirty as it sounds - yes, I thought the same thing) - is actually a book.

You'd know that Jules, if you visited us over on "that other forum"...

Okie, maybe I'm just crazy, but would anyone really pay $600.00 for the Girl In The Tower love theme from King's Quest 6??
