SWAT Career Pack

This collection was created in 2000. I don't remember if I mentioned it before or not or if you're aware of it but I thought I'd bring it up anyway. I own this particular pack. It has 7 discs which seem to simply be one disc for the 4 Most Wanted collection (with AGI and VGA PQ1), the four SWAT 1 discs, one SWAT 2 disc, and a demo disc with GK3 and SWAT 3 demos. If you like I can help out with the file structure, but most likely the only difference to previous collections is the addition of the SWAT 2 and demo discs.

When I have time I'll try out the current PQ collection installers and see if they work properly.

EDIT: Update, the PQ4MW and PQCS installers do indeed work just fine with the first 5 discs of this collection (PQ4MW and SWAT 1 discs). Maybe all that's needed is to add a note on the installer downloads page that those installers work with the SWAT Career Pack as well.

I think someone else once posted about it here, ask for installer support for it. Sounds like it is just the Collection Series with a SWAT 2 disk added. I have not look much at SWAT 2. Did it install OK on your Win7? If so, there may be no reason for a dedicated installer for it, just as you say -- a note on the installer page.

It seemed to install fine but UniSCI crashed and as a result SWAT won't run. That might be the same for both SWAT installers, though. I'll test. I'm about to try the regular SWAT 2 installation and see if it works.

Some have had issues with UniSCI on Vista and Win7. Even though the installer is set to run with elevated privileges, it may be a UAC issue. Try running the installer with the Run as Admin option.

Will do.

Also, the regular SWAT 2 installer works fine and the game runs without any problems (though, sluggish, strangely). So no need for additional installers.

EDIT: Running the installer as administrator fixed the problem with UniSCI.
