I just realised something ...

Not finding any Glory in this whole Quest for Glory bit? Need a hint? Or just want to discuss Quest for Glory - this is the place to do it!

... that music that plays when the hero sets out in the caravan in QfG2 is the theme music from the 1962 movie, "Lawrence of Arabia". Observe:

All right, I'm sure that's not a surprise or revelation to anyone. I just thought it was cool. :)

Hrm. I don't think they sound alike. The QfG theme has a much slower beat to it, where as the Lawrence of Arabia has a quick, fast, tempo to it.

At least the beginnings of each song - granted, didn't listen to both all the way.

Sure, the QfG "caravan theme" is slow. But when the "Lawrence of Arabia" theme starts, it's not fast either.

Compare the QfG theme from 0:29 onward to the "Lawrence" theme from 0:39 onward, when they start sounding very much the same. At that point, the Lawrence theme isn't fast at all. It's calm, sedate, majestic - very much like the QfG theme, just with more instruments. :)
