I think I'd have a fit if the Coles announced that they were making a new QfG style game. QfG and GK are my two favourite series.

Actually, given the popularity of RPGs, that might get a wider audience than the other adventure-type games, if done correctly.

A whole bunch of old-time SQ fans are coming out of the woodwork because of this news. The Janitorial Times forums are bustling! The creators of the Virtual Broomcloset and SQ.Net (Jess and Frans) have even come around throwing around ideas for updating their respective sites or even merging them into one great SQ fansite entity!

This is an exciting time for the SQ community!

Of course, on that note, this "too good to be true" thing can only be trumped by the Mayan's doomsday prediction later this year. While I'm convinced the prophecy is complete balls, I'm actually more concerned about Snooki giving birth on Dec. 21st (not to mention any other day).

Either way, the Two Guys are back (with a SpaceVenture!), Al is back (with Josh Mandel!), Jane is back (with a NEW game!), and outside the Sierra box, we even have Tim Schafer back (with Ron Gilbert!)

I just realized that the only downside to all these sudden amazing new adventure reunions and revivals is that I'll have to make a heck of a lot of changes to the plot of the third game in my Adventure series. (Yes, I'm working on it; no, I have no idea when it'll be done.)

I was just thinking about that earlier. You could really pull some kind of epic storyline out of all these gaming titans returning to our world. The only question involves figuring out who the villain is because I'm seeing nothing but good news all around.
