If it happens, try Control Alt Delete - to bring up the Task Manager - see if that opens. Then force shut it down.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 3:42 amWell, now that I have finished GK2 ... I'm downloading it to try now! Will be back later to share my thoughts ... very excited! I'm as excited as pastry lover who thought the cat had done its business on his muffin but it turned out to be an extra-large blackberry.
****** EDIT ******
Well, poot.I downloaded it, installed it, ran it ... and got a blank, black screen that didn't go anywhere. Nor could I alt+tab back to Windows and shut it down. So after waiting for two-three minutes with nothing happening, I did a hard reboot.
Of course I'm disappointed, but ... oh, well. *shrug* Things happen ...

Er, do you mean here, MI? It tells me that only backers may leave comments. What is a "backer"?MusicallyInspired wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 11:26 amThat sucks. I haven't even tried the demo myself. Maybe leave a comment on the Kickstarter comments page and they can get you some tips?

Yeah, that's the first thing I tried. It doesn't do anything.

As I said, all I get is a blank screen. No splash screen - nothing. Even Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't do anything. So I had no choice but to do a hard reset.

Ah yes I guess you have to be a backer. Sorry, I was under the mistaken impression for some reason that anyone could leave general comments, but only backers (people who "backed" the project with a pledge) could comment on campaign updates. Perhaps email Transolar Games then. Or hop on their Discord if you use that.
Do you own Rogue to Redemption, their first game? It also runs in the Unity engine. Perhaps there's some correlation of the Rogue doesn't work either that could be tracked down. I just don't know I'm afraid.

Hmm. I don't know how to email them, and I don't use Discord. Where would I find their email? I looked on their website and can't find it.
Yes, I certainly do own Rogue. I like it very much, and I never had any trouble playing it. (I got it through Steam - maybe that's why?)

There's a Contact Us email web form on their website. www.hero-u.com at the very bottom of the page.
