"Lady Detective" game... is it... Laura Bow?

It's been a while and I'd love to share some characters that I've been making for the upcoming mysterious adventure game by NineZyme Entertainment.
Here is the first one, let's call her a Lady Detective (since I can't share her real name right now, it's going to be a surprise for some of you 😜).
This is a real-time game-ready model, around 23k tris.
Visual development, concepts and 3D modeling by me.

Cool. Wish there was more information on the site... Hopefully just a game you can purchase on STEAM or GOG... and not a #&$%$ing Kickstarter. :D

I'm just so burned out on the cartoony style. It is one thing for LSL to be cartoony being a pure comedy, but seems inappropriate to me for LB. That said, I would love to see new LB games otherwise.

Some fear it is a hidden object game. I don't think that it is, though. Apparently it's by a legit developer who's putting together this as a proposal to ActiVision in hopes of getting a license to develop it. I welcome it. Cartoony or no.

I don't see it as "cartoony" myself. To me, it simply looks like modern graphics.
The only "cartoony" resemblence I see is it looks like Disney animation (like Toy Story).
And that, to me, is an incredible accomplishment.
I just hope ALL of the game is like that; and not just the characters, while everything else looks "blandish" - that'd be my only concern.

I don't think so. When I think anime, this is what I think of. I mean, yes, her eyes are larger than they should be (which does have some anime properties; but that's the only thing). The rest of her body is all proportional. To me, she looks like whoever this is from Frozen. But I suppose being that it's an animated cartoon (Frozen, that is), and you said it looks cartoony; I can see why you may not like it.

No comment on the graphics/cartoons business. Everyone's entitled to their opinion. :)

Personally, I'm very excited about this. :D Perhaps I should play the original LB now. I never finished them to start with.

The face looks too young, IMO, but is overall well animated. I'm with Collector on the cartoony style not really being appropriate to LB. Nevertheless, it'd be great to see her in another game!
